
Jason H. Goodchild, DMD is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He received his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine
where he still holds a faculty position as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral Medicine. As part of his training and service in the Department of Oral Medicine
he was educated in Enteral sedation and completed numerous cases at the dental school and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. As a part of his faculty duties he treats
patients with complex medical histories, and oversees students and residents.
He is also Assistant Professor and Director of the Division of Oral Diagnosis in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences at the New Jersey Dental School. He teaches the next generation of dentists excellence in patient care, and introduces the concepts of enteral sedation to fourth-year dental students in the classroom. He is currently studying for his Masters of Dental Science degree and has research underway looking at new enteral sedation medications.
Dr. Goodchild has published numerous articles and spoken to many State Dental Boards on the topic of enteral sedation dentistry. He has been an invited speaker for the Academy of General Dentistry and American Association for Dental Examiners. He is a reviewer for the Journal of the American Dental Association and Quintessence International. He has also served as a grant reviewer for the National Institute of Health.
